The Pipe Factory is a practitioner-led, not-for-profit space in the East End of Glasgow, inhabiting a B-listed five floor former clay tobacco pipe factory built in 1877. We are committed to providing a broad events and exhibitions programme, residencies, learning opportunities, workshops, publications, heritage, conservation, as well as a considered and meaningful engagement within the local context and the refurbishment of the historic premises from which we operate.
We have 1 studio space available for immediate occupation with an asking rent of £80 a month and another studio becoming available from 15th June 2017. TPF tenants working within the building form a core community of representatives from a wide range of creative practices and have space to pursue their own practice, collaborate, and contribute to the wider dialogue around TPF as a developing arts organisation.
